Tiger Profiles and Insulation LLC.

Tiger Profiles & Insulation is a comprehensive source to all the construction industry’s Roofing and cladding requirements. Established in 1994 as the “cladding” arm of the forty year old Tiger Steel Group of Companies, Tiger Profiles & Insulation LLC, known as TPI, is a one-stop-shop that caters to the GCC and regional market.

The product range presented by Tiger Profiles & Insulation furnishes the most sophisticated and demanding of designs and needs. A range of profiles that are custom made to individual clients’ needs encompass a selection of the most technically advanced solutions. TPI’s activities include the manufacturing, supply and installation of cladding materials, roof panels, wall panels, floor decking panels, steel and aluminum profiled sheeting, partitioning, composite sandwich panels, cold store panels, standing seam system, (known as T-Seam®) , cold roll forming, and related cladding accessories.

Tiger Profiles and Insulation manufactures a range of the most efficient roof and wall profiles available on the international market today. Some of the roll formed profiles manufactured by TPI include but are not limited to TR 45/150, TR 45/250, TR 47/180, TR 75/300 and TR 35/200. Present in a variety of different materials including aluminum, GI and Alu-Zinc, the profiles are provided in a range of thicknesses from 0.40mm to 1.00mm and in a wide selection of colors and pre-painted (polyester), PVF2, PVC Plastisol finishes that ensure that architects and designers are equipped with almost infinite possibilities of versatile solutions.

The prestigious T-Seam® product belongs to the family of standing seam roofing systems. T-Seam® is recognized for its design flexibility, high performance, ease in maintenance, durability and resistance to corrosion and its reliability. Produced in the factory or on site, the roof sheets are easily fixed to the structure without any penetration the sheets, and allowing for the safe contraction and expansion of the sheets thus eliminating the risk of water leakage and rust. T-Seam® panels are supplied in aluminum, Alloy AA 3105 or AA 3004 that can be color coated or provided in a mill finish, galvanized, stainless steel, copper and zinc. The T-Seam ® system is approved by DIBT – Deutsche Institute for BauTechnik (German Institute for Structural Engineering).

The steel floor deck systems supplied by Tiger Profiles and Insulation for use in composite and structural slabs and decks, offer an immediate safe working platform that can reduce up to 30% of normally required usage of concrete while acting as permanent formwork and slab reinforcement in composite desks. TPI manufactures deck profiles from a range of material and finishes including but not limited to GI Steel conforming to ASTM – A53, Grade D, structural quality with a yield of 345Mpa. The galvanized mill finish varies from G60 to G90 i.e 180g/m2 to 275g/m2.

TPI supplies the regional market with panels for cold stores, and these include both free standing and reefer container type panels that are individually designed to meet clients’ specific requirements. These can range in thickness from 50mm to 250mm. The cold store panels are continuously foamed-in-line for peak insulating efficiency. All the panels are molded with tongue and groove arrangements to extremely close tolerances for a tight fit between panels. A Cam-lock system is used to give tightest possible joint sealing preventing condensation and heat transfer. The external metal skin is available in a wide range of standards as Mill Finish, Polyester color coating, PVF2 color coating, PVC Plastisol coating, Stucco embossed and stainless steel.

Cold store doors are built to the highest quality and environmental standards customized to clients’ requirements, and are accompanied by a complete range of accessories including door locks, rubber gaskets, curtains and safety release mechanism. In line with its environmental policies, Tiger Profiles & Insulation may be the only company in the region to utilize environmentally approved Cyclo-pentane blowing agents that are consistent with the United Nations’ Montreal Protocol of 1987 addressing chemicals that affect the ozone layer, as well as mandates set by the U.S Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to meet the requirements of Title VI of the clean Air Act (Section 602). Moreover, the Cyclo-pentane utilized by TPI has been officially recognized to have ZERO Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and ZERO Global Warming Potential (GWP).

Responding to the architectural building market’s demand for roofing tile effects, Tiger Profiles and Insulation manufactures continuous tile profile panels using rigid polyurethane with external and internal sheets of aluminum of varying thicknesses, coatings and colors as required by clients. The tile profiles’ manufacturing process utilizes polyurethane foam of typical properties such as an average density of 35 – 40kg / m3, closed cell contents that are greater than 95%; initial thermal conductivity at 23oC equal to 21mw/mk; panel thickness of 50mm to 100mm, and dimensional stability and linear variation equal to 1% maximum at 700C. The cladding specification is based on the use of aluminum sheets conforming to Grade AA-3105 (En 485/4 , Alloy Ns31 and Temper H.16). The top skin sheet thickness for aluminum tile profiles is recommended at 0.7mm.

The “Metal Furring Suspended Ceiling System” produced by Tiger Profiles and Insulation presents itself as the ideal solution to the commercial market that requires suspending ceilings with no visible joints or exposed supporting members, thus allowing for a smooth, flexible and high quality finish.

Prime Grade “Zero Spangle” pre-galvanized steel is used in the production process of all the studs and related accessories. TPI’s international conforming standards are based on the specifications for hot-dip zinc coating and iron zinc alloy coated sheet steel, for steel studs and channels, for studs and sheet partitions, and linings using screw fixed gypsum wallboards.

As with all Tiger Profiles & Insulation products, extensive market, environmental, and product technology research and development play the major role in ensuring that clients are only supplied with the finest products of the highest efficiency, and that TPI’s products are produced in environmentally efficient and safe working conditions. In this particular product, research has determined the ideal dimensions and insulation infill materials that best suit the market requirements.

The metal stud partitions’’ sections are conveniently lightweight and non-bearing and are thus quickly and easily assembled on site, providing low cost partitions suitable for all building types. To accommodate simple plumbing and electrical conduit’s penetrations, TPI provides partitions with punched openings at regular intervals.

Tiger Profiles and Insulation manufactures sandwich panels by the use of rigid polyurethane with external and internal sheets of steel, alu-zinc and aluminum of different thicknesses, coating and colors. The general physical properties of the polyurethane used by TPI include an overall density of 35 to 38kgs/m3, closed cell contents of greater than 90%, thermal conductivity of 0.021W/m0K; and compressive strength.

Tiger Profiles and Insulation are proficient at producing Z-Purlins and C-Channels, which are the secondary structural members used to support the roof sheeting and wall cladding. Besides being economical to use, the Z-Purlins and C-Channels provide excellent strength to weight ratio. The Z and C Channels are manufactured from galvanized coils conforming to ASTM – A 653, Grade D with a yield strength of 345Mpa. The range of purlins produced by TPI varies in depth from 100mm to 450mm and the related thickness varies upto 3mm thereby allowing them to cater to large spans of upto 11m.

In parallel to its productions of these purlins, TPI also manufacturers one of the most efficient sag rod products available on the market today. The use of these sag rods has been proven to reduce the installation time by more than 80% in comparison to the other available sag rods.

At TPI we have always honored our commitment to maintain the maximum levels of Quality Control procedures as well as the Health and Safety Policies resulting in high quality products and ensuring complete customer satisfaction in line with three significant and internationally recognized quality certificates: the ISO 9001 Quality Management Standards, the ISO 14001 Environmental Management Standards and the OHSAS 18001 Health and Safety Management Standards. TPI is an active member of the US Green Building Council (USGBC), and the Emirates Environmental Group. TPI manufactures, supplies, and caters to EPC contracts.
